Basket Parties!

Hey all! So I've been getting a lot of questions about my "Basket Parties" and how these work, so here it goes!

Basket Parties are VERY simple and fun to do (for those of you who hate giving presentations to people, these are perfect!) So what I do is mail the whole basket with all of the Scentsy goodies inside and also pay for the return shipping to get it back to me when your party is over (that way, you don't have to spend a dime!)

What's all in my Basket Parties?

I try to include a little bit of everything.  That way your guests have the opportunity to test all of the products out before they place an order! We'll start with my smallest basket that I use right now, it's my Halloween themed basket party! Super cute!!

This includes:

80 scent testers

Catalogs, brochures order forms, fragrance foam, room spray, scent bar, plug-in warmer, scent circle, and travel tin!

A Scentsy Buddy (with scent pak)

And this is what the whole thing looks like...

This is my Halloween themed one for this fall, it's super adorable and the basket only cost $3 at the Clay County Fair in Spencer, IA! Talk about a steal right?

I do have a larger style basket party that I use as well.  It's just a simple tote bag that I found at Wal-Mart for about $20. This thing works perfect!

It came with this little zip-lock pouch that fits my catalogs and order forms just right

So I just stick that pouch with the catalogs in the front of the tote (the purple ribbon came with it)

In the bigger tote bag, I usually include a full-size warmer AND a plug-in, or just the full-size by itself.  Obviously even just a mid-size would work or the mid-size with the plug-in whatever you have or prefer! Along with the warmer, I like to include everything in the bag for your customers to rummage through!

This is what the larger tote basket party looks like

This includes everything listed above, just a different size warmer!

If anyone is ever interested in one of these, it's very simple.  Keep in mind that when you host any Scentsy party, you earn free Scentsy rewards and half priced items! What a deal right?

My Scentsy "Addiction" ... Or What I Call My "Collection"

Just thought I'd share my own Scentsy purchases over the last 2 1/2 years! The boyfriend says I have too many.... he doesn't know what's in store for him!

These 3 just arrived today!

Barista

Citron

Ashbury

I love them! I also got 6 bars and 3 travel tins......  :)

So while I was switching out all my warmers to the new ones, I decided to take a picture of ALL of my Scentsy boxes that I own (minus 1, since I no longer have the box for it)

And STILL counting (sorry Kyle)

Also, I just received the large order I placed last week. I got them all labeled, now I'm just waiting to package them up to ship off to my customers!

Before..

And here's what they look like AFTER I label and package them...

That's just a little one, but you get the idea! Usually I'll put a flyer in these as well, but I just did a mailing of the new Fall/Winter catalog with samples and flyers, so I left them out of this order.  But I still make them cute with some ribbon (really cheap at wal-mart) and I'll either ship them to my out of towners OR hand deliver to my locals!

Don't forget to "Like" me on FB and "Share" my page with your friends so we can get everybody in on the fun and Scentsy madness!

Thank You Magnets

So usually when my customers order from me, I always make sure to send them a "Thank You" package.  These packages include a catalog or flyer (or both), a Thank You note (hand written - more personal), samples, and a Scentsy spatula like this one below (if I haven't sent them one already - if I've sent them the spatula previously, I'll throw in a Scentsy pen or magnet with my information on it)

Lately, I've been lookin' for new crafty ideas for Thank You packages to send out! I thought I'd share this YouTube video I found. It's a cute, clever idea and I'm definitely going to try it out.

Check it out:

Super cute right?! And best of all.... CHEAP!

Once I get a few of my own made, I'll be sure to post pictures! Any other ideas out there? Please post them!!!

Scentsy Samples!!!

Hey everyone!

So I thought I'd just share how I make my Scentsy samples for my customers each month.

Here's what you'll need:

Scent bars
Knife
Candy Molds
Business Card Sized zip lock baggies (wal-mart)

Okay, next what I do is dice the wax cubes up (about a cenimeter thick) and break them up into small cubes.

Fill the cubes with a couple pieces of the wax and stick it in the microwave!
Now obviously not all microwaves are the same. Mine it only takes about 1-1 1/2 minutes to melt the molds.  After they're all melted, stick them in your freezer for about 5 minutes and let them harden (be careful not to let them get TOO frozen, or they'll break)

Here's what they should like like after they're frozen...

Now, all you have to do is pop them out, put them in a little zip lock bag and staple it to either a business card, a flyer, or a catalog (which ever you prefer) and mail them out!

Mine are all ready to go out tomorrow!

I stapled these to my Monthly Special flyers and put them in with the new Fall/Winter catalog! It's fast, easy, and you're customers will LOVE them!

Feel free to share any other ways to make samples, I'd love to hear them!

Don't forget to "Like" me on Facebook and "Share" my page!  I do giveaways, weekly contests for FREE prizes, and all types of stuff!

Night everybody!
